Tulsi plant can be grown in 2 ways, either with seeds or plant cutting
How To Grow Tulsi Plant From Seeds
- Pluck or select seeds that are brown in colour (these seeds must be dried when the florets are on the plant)
- Rub the seeds between your palm and remove the outer thin cover what remains are the tiny black seeds
Prepare potting mix
Mix equal quantities of soil, compost (cowdung mannure or vermicompost) and cocopeat

Plastic
Ceramic
Terracotta
Coir (or any natural material)
* Avoid metal at any cost
*Select a planter that has good amount of drainage holes
Sowing seeds
Fill the pot with the potting mix
Scatter seeds over the potting mix
Throw some cocopeat over the seeds

2. look out for plant that has atleast small florets growing
3. Ask the staff if they can repot it for you in a terracotta pot
4. Make sure to use a potting mix that has a combination of garden soil, cocopeat and compost
